INVITATION and Call for Papers

INVITATION

On behalf of the Balkan Union of Metallurgists and Macedonian Metallurgists Union, it is a great pleasure to invite all metallurgy scientists and experts from Balkan and other countries to attend to the Third Balkan Conference of Metallurgy. The Conference will be held in Ohrid, Macedonia, from 24^th September to 27^th September 2003.

It is a great honor of Macedonian Union of Metallurgists as a whole, to host this conference.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit abstracts in English by surface mail, E-mail or fax. Abstract should give sufficient information to allow the Scientific Committee to evaluate the proposed presentation. Make a typing area on A4 paper with margins: top-30 mm; bottom–20 mm; left-30 mm; right-20 mm. Papers will be presented orally or postered and the number of session will be determined by the number and object of submitted papers.

Prospective authors wishing to present papers are invited to submit abstract of 250 to 300 words (in English) to the Conference Office by April 30, 2003.

We request the authors to submit a complete manuscript by June 15, 2003 for review per E-mail or post, with obligatory floppy disk file. Authors of the selected papers will be notified of the acceptance of their papers by June 30, 2003, and then the final manuscript would be received by July 30, 2003, also per e-mail, per post with one exemplar of manuscript and file on floppy disk, enable to be published in the Proceedings book of 3rd Balkan Metallurgical Conference 2003.

 INSTRUCTION FOR MANUSCRIPT

Volume of papers:

The paper ordered by Organizers can be written on maximum of 16 pages. Others authors are request to write the papers on maximum 6 pages, including, abstract of maximum 300 words, figures, tables and reference. The manuscripts have be written on MS WORD text processor.

Forms of papers: The Authors are requested to use the example give as attachment of this call or downloaded.

 Page setup:  Portrait; Top 30 mm; Bottom 20 mm; Inside 30 and Outside 20 mm, Mirror Margins to Whole document; Layout - Different odd and even; Vertical alignment - Top; Paper size - A4.

Fonts: Times New Roman

Title: Heading 4 in maximum two line, Spacing after 6, alignment - left, Identification: left - 0, right - 0, Special – none, Line spacing – Multiple 1.2.

Authors: Next line, Alignment - Left, Identification ( Left – 0, Right – 0), Special – none, Spacing (before – 6, After – 0), Line spacing – Multiple – 1.2

Company, Street, City, Country: as Authors

Abstract: Maximum 300 words, as normal with letters size 10. Alignment – Justified, Indentation: (Left – 0, Right – 0), Special – none, Spacing (Before - 6, After - 0), Line spacing – Single 0.
